The Neutrals Challenge

Just a quicky card today.  It is the last day to enter the Color Inspiration for Card Makers Week challenge over at Moxie Fab World so I decided to challenge myself once again. Here is my take on earthy neutrals:

Hello
Hello

All stamps are from Pop Flowers set by My Cute Stamps.
Apologies for bad pictures.  The days are quite dark lately and the lighting is terrible for photos. Can’t wait for summer! :)

Thank you for stopping by!

Inspired by…

Today’s card is made for the latest challenge at Hero Arts: Inspired by the 2011 Catalogue.
Be warned. If you head over to the 2011 HA Catalogue, you will find lots of gorgeous stamps! My wish list is already too long *sigh* :)

My inspiration comes from page 13 of the catalogue, I was mainly inspired by the design and here is what I came up with:

Congratulations
Congratulations

The colour combo I used comes from the Moxie Fab World Metallic Colour Challenge and thanks to that I’ve finally had an opportunity to use this gold corrugated cardstock from the very bottom of my stash :)

Well, that is it for me today, thank you for stopping by!

The Gray is the New Black

Hello!

Before I will share today’s card I would like to thank Debby from lime doodle for giving me a Stylish Blogger Award. Thank you Debby! I feel flattered!

The rules are:
1. Thank and link back to the person who awarded you this.
2. Share 8 things about yourself.
3. Pay it forward to bloggers that you have recently discovered.

So, I’m supposed to share bits of random information about myself:
  1. My favourite number is 7.
  2. I love sea and sailing.
  3. I don’t like winters and I would like to live in some country that is warm all year around (by the sea of course! lol )
  4. I always wanted to be a figure skater when I grew up but I am a graduate of Maritime Academy (lol)
  5. I’m too sensitive sometimes, and often cry at movies that have sad meanings.
  6. My absolute favourite breakfast is almond croissant and latte.
  7. Besides crafting, another thing that I really enjoy is reading. I love Latin American literature, some of my favourites are Jorge Luis Borges, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Pablo Neruda, Isabel Allende. I also love the Russian writers: Mikhail Bulgakov, Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
  8. I don’t remember my own mobile number (it’s very embarrassing sometimes).
Now I'm passing this award on to:
an excellent opportunity to change it
Ann Martin – it’s not the blog I have discovered recently, I found it at the beginning of my craft journey (about two years ago?) but I still love it!
If you like fab inspiration make sure to check out their blogs!

My today’s card is made for such a grey great challenge in the Moxie Fab World: “The Gray is the New Black”. What's not to love about grey?! (Except the grey weather obviously) I think that it’s a terrific colour that can offer many creative possibilities:

Thank you
Thank you

All stamps come from My Cute Stamps. I used the flowers from Pop Flowers set, with silver embossing powder and the “Thank you” sentiment is from Matryoshka Dolls set.

Thank you for stopping by!

I’ve started the New Year with great news from Moxie Fab World. I’m one of the winners of the Glitter Glam challenge, I’m so delighted to be chosen from so many of fantastic glittery entries! And speaking of glitter and glam… I finally can share this beautiful picture of my card published in December CARDS Magazine:

Isn’t this photo just amazing?! Unfortunately I lost original pictures after my computer crashed but I’m in love with this one! ;)
